Already a Client?

Steven entered the mortgage industry in January 2016 working for his father, Damon Burns, after some frustrations with his prior career in the aerospace industry.  While working for his father and gaining the complex knowledge of the mortgage world, Steven worked on getting his licensing to be a Mortgage Loan Originator.  After some time learning the ropes, Steven began to build his own business within The Burns Team.  Quickly he was able grow his business through the steps he was taught by his father, and other mentors.  He understood the key component to success was firstly excellent customer service for his clients.  A positive customer experience through such a major life decision of buying a home is vital.  Being able to understand the clients situation, and guide them through the process of homeownership with a helping hand is something Steven strives for.  Part of the customer experience is excellent communication.  He has been able to openly answer questions quickly, efficiently and in a manner the client can comprehend while being available to the client whenever necessary.  His vast knowledge and ability to quickly adapt to the tough and everchanging environment of the lending world has helped him excel past many of the well seasoned competitors in his area.​

While Steven is not in the office he spends time with his wife, Mariah and three children, Caroline, William, and Amelia.  You can find them out off-roading and exploring new places as a family.  Steven's passion for adventure and problem solving has led him to a hobby of building and fabricating offroad vehicles and parts, which pairs well with the families love for camping and exploring.
